exprim\u00e9s par les patientes atteintes d\u2019un cancer du sein m\u00e9tastatique (CSM) et leur famille, Pfizer Canada et Rethink Breast Cancer financeront un projet e-IMPAQc pour les patientes atteintes d\u2019un CSM.<\/p><p>Les femmes atteintes d\u2019un CSM vivent de nombreuses exp\u00e9riences qui ont des r\u00e9percussions sur leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 prendre en charge leurs soins ou \u00e0 planifier leur avenir. Le d\u00e9tection syst\u00e9matique des sympt\u00f4mes et des d\u00e9fis auxquels ces personnes sont confront\u00e9es (aussi appel\u00e9s r\u00e9sultats signal\u00e9s par les patients) est la cl\u00e9 de vo\u00fbte des soins de qualit\u00e9 contre le cancer et peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme outil pour am\u00e9liorer la vie des patientes. L\u2019objectif de ce projet est de mettre sur pied un programme \u00e9lectronique de d\u00e9tection et de prise en charge des r\u00e9sultats signal\u00e9s par les patientes, en vue d\u2019offrir un traitement et des soins mieux adapt\u00e9s aux besoins des femmes souffrant d\u2019un CSM.<\/p><p>\u00ab Les programmes financ\u00e9s par ces bourses sont tr\u00e8s importants pour la communaut\u00e9 des patientes atteintes d\u2019un CSM et repr\u00e9sentent une part importante de notre travail continu \u00bb, se r\u00e9jouit Nathalie Baudais, survivante d\u2019un CSM, ambassadrice de la recherche sur le cancer et co-pr\u00e9sidente du Conseil consultatif en mati\u00e8re de CSM de Rethink. \u00ab Nous sommes conscients de la valeur que poss\u00e8de l\u2019implication des patientes et des aidants dans leurs soins et la prise de d\u00e9cision.
