Who can participate? Anybody providing frontline care to patients who have completed cancer treatment in Quebec.

Location: Quebec, Canada

Our research team is developing a program to improve the screening and management of symptoms and concerns that linger after cancer treatment for patients and their caregivers, that will be easily accessible on an electronic platform. We are looking to partner with representatives from community organizations  to help us design this program.

This project is funded by Oncopole.

What does participation involve?

We invite you to participate virtually (over Teams or Zoom) in:

Two 90-minute workshops and one 120-minute workshop over a period of 12 months. The first workshop will be held in Summer 2021.

There will be 5 to 15 participants in each workshop.

The workshops will be held via video- conferencing in the event that an in-person meeting is not possible.

* If you are not available for workshops, individual interviews are available

As part of your participation, the research team will ask you for perspectives on the models of survivorship care, and how our program can best be integrated within these models. We will also ask you to complete:

One 5-minute questionnaire at the beginning of your participation

One 15-minute questionnaire at the end of your participation

What are the benefits of participating?

Your participation will help us to identify how we can best support patients after treatment and beyond, and how best to support caregivers in meeting the challenges of their role.
