Caregiver study
Your feedback will help us to identify questionnaires and educational material that will respond to the needs of the caregiver.
Who can participate? Anyone caring for a family member or friend who has been living with a cancer diagnosis for at least 3 months
Age: 18+
Location: Quebec, Canada
Compensation: $50
The e-IMPAQc project team is developing questionnaire and educational materials to help caregivers identify and communicate their needs and learn how to manage these. Specifically,
- Caregivers will be able to complete questionnaires on their smartphones or tablets that will capture the challenges they are experiencing.
- Caregivers and their healthcare team will receive a summary of the results of these questionnaires.
- Caregivers will be able to receive educational materials and support information that may help them manage their challenges.
What does participation involve?
We invite you to participate in a discussion with 2 members of the project team and 4 to 7 other caregivers about the challenges you may have experienced while caring for a person with cancer. If you prefer, we can schedule an individual interview.
We also invite you to share with us the types of support, services, or information you feel would be helpful for caregivers to help them manage. We anticipate that this will take no more than 60 to 90 minutes of your time.
