About e-IMPAQc

The aim of the e-IMPAQc project is to implement a systematic collection of patients’ responses to questionnaires about common cancer treatment symptoms and side effects and their consequences. e-IMPAQc can be uploaded to any electronic platform and is currently available on Opal and DART. The program will be implemented across seven cancer centres in Quebec.

Our project team is unique in that it brings together professionals from a wide range of healthcare disciplines, experts in computer science and informatics, patient partners and patients and clinicians who will ultimately use the technology. e-IMPAQc will implement best evidence into real-world clinical practice to improve patient care by using an efficient, user-friendly, direct patient and caregiver entry electronic platform. This initiative is aligned with the Quebec Ministry of Health’s action plan to promote large-scale practice change across the province regarding the standardization of comprehensive and integrated tools and services for the detection and monitoring of cancer patient symptoms.
