After Treatment: Study

We invite people who are post-active treatment, as well as those who are the primary support of people who have completed cancer treatment to join us in this project!

Partner with us to design new online programs to help patients and caregivers manage the long-term effects of cancer.

Our research team is developing a program to help improve the experience of people who have completed cancer treatment. We are looking to partner with patients and caregivers to design a program that will improve care post treatment by improving the screening and management of longterm and late effects of cancer and treatment for patients, and offer support to caregivers to maximize their health and wellbeing.

This project is funded by Oncopole.

What does participation involve?

We invite you to participate in

Three 90-minute workshops over a period of 12 months.

There will be 5 to 15 participants in each workshop.

The workshops will be held via videoconferencing in the event that an in-person meeting is not possible.

As part of your participation, the research team will ask you for perspectives on the needs of patients and caregivers, and how our program can best respond to these needs. We will also ask you to complete:

One 5-minute questionnaire at the beginning of your participation

One 15-minute questionnaire at the end of your participation

What are the benefits of participating?

Your participation will help us to identify how we can best support patients post-treatment and beyond, and how best to support caregivers in meeting the challenges of their role.
